Getting Involved
We would love to help you find ways to use your gifts to serve in ministry at St. Charles and in our community. Here are some current needs. Let us know if you would like to get involved
Positions Available
Sound Board & Live-Streaming Team
We have set up an easy soundboard system for Sunday worship. Volunteers don’t need to worry about volume settings or equalizing - just mute and unmute the mics as different ministers are leading! For our live-streaming software, you are basically turning on our camera and hitting “Go Live!” If you enjoy behind-the-scenes service, we’d love to talk to you.
Lay Reader
Lay readers are men who have made a specific commitment to their bishop, parish priest and churchwardens to use their existing and developed gifts in ministry to the glory of God and for the benefit of the church (people), particularly in the conduct of public worship, giving instruction in the Christian faith, evangelizing, providing pastoral care within their community and other such duties as requested of them. Authority is given by the bishop in the form of a bishop’s license after a probationary period of training.
Choir
Our choir is looking to grow! We rehearse at 9:00am on Sundays before our worship. If you love sacred music and singing, please join us!
Social Media
We want to share our story of walking with and participating with God as a parish, the Anglican tradition, and the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you are a natural story-teller, we’d love for you to join our social media team!
YouTube Sermon Posting
We are looking for someone to extract our sermon each week and upload it to YouTube. This takes about 20 minutes and we have a very easy-to-use video editor to do this. If you are comfortable with easy-to-use software and interested in helping us with this, we’ve love to have you help!
